The New Zealander will race alongside returning driver Yuven Sundaramoorthy and former HMD teammate Myles Rowe as part of Abel Motorsports' expanded lineup.

"2024 was a great season for me, and I learned a lot about the Indy NXT car and series," said Hedge. "Our goal in 2025 is simple: contend for the Indy NXT by Firestone championship." He joins the team with support from Tasman Motorsports and other New Zealand business entities.

Team owner Bill Abel, who first met Hedge in New Zealand in 2023, expressed confidence in the young driver's potential: "Callum's first season in Indy NXT showed flashes of brilliance. There is no reason that Callum can't compete for podiums, wins, and ultimately the 2025 championship."
