Bobby Pierce Dominates Late Model Wild West Shootout Season Opener with $25,000 Win

Bobby Pierce secured the victory in the opening round of the 19th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park. Leading the final 30 laps of the 50-lap, $25,000-to-win feature race, Pierce clinched his seventh win in his last 10 races at Vado.

Pierce overtook early leader Garrett Alberson, who had led the first 28 laps, following a restart on lap 29. Despite concerns about his tire selection and challenging track conditions, Pierce maintained his lead to the finish, with Alberson finishing second, 0.933 seconds behind. Brandon Sheppard rounded out the podium in third place.
