
BMW Takes Command in Second Daytona Roar Session
BMW Team RLL dominated the second Roar Before The 24 session at Daytona, with Dries Vanthoor setting the fastest time of 1m35.424s in the No. 24 M Hybrid V8. This performance surpassed Meyer Shank Racing's morning session lead by 0.4 seconds.
Nick Yelolly placed the No. 93 Acura MSR ARX-06 in second position with a time of 1m35.619s, just 0.2s behind the leader. Lamborghini's SC63, driven by Romain Grosjean, secured third place with a 1m36.041s after recovering from morning technical issues.

- LMP2: TDS Racing's ORECA led with Mikkel Jensen's 1m39.047s
- GTD Pro: AO Racing Porsche topped the category with Laurin Heinrich's 1m47.775s
- GTD: Korthoff Competition Mercedes set the pace with 1m48.237s
The No. 7 Porsche Penske 963 faced challenges when Felipe Nasr had to stop due to a high-voltage alarm, while Inter Europol Competition's ORECA caused a late red flag after stopping on track.
"We believe we have taken steps since last year," said Vanthoor. "We've done a lot of testing and there's a lot of hard work going on. We will see next week if it pays off."
