BMW Dominates Second Roar Session as Vanthoor Sets Fastest Time at Daytona
BMW M Team RLL's No. 24 M Hybrid V8, driven by Dries Vanthoor, topped the second Roar Before The 24 session at Daytona with a time of 1m35.424s, outpacing the morning's leader by 0.4 seconds.
Nick Yelloly placed the No. 93 Acura MSR ARX-06 in second with a 1m35.619s, while Lamborghini's SC63, piloted by Romain Grosjean, recovered from morning technical issues to finish third with a 1m36.041s after completing 46 laps.

Notable incidents included the No. 7 Porsche Penske 963's early retirement after Felipe Nasr's high-voltage alarm activation, requiring recovery to the Isolation Zone.
In LMP2, TDS Racing's ORECA led with Mikkel Jensen's 1m39.047s, narrowly beating Inter Europol Competition by 0.083 seconds. The class's fastest time of the day remained Crowdstrike Racing by APR's morning lap of 1m38.673s.
GTD saw AO Racing's Porsche dominate with Laurin Heinrich's 1m47.775s, followed by Pfaff Lamborghini in second. The No. 32 Korthoff Competition Mercedes led the GTD class with the third-fastest overall time of 1m48.237s.
