The first electric BMW M3 has been unveiled through camouflaged teasers, marking a significant shift for the iconic sports sedan. While maintaining its performance heritage, this next-generation M3 introduces groundbreaking electric technology alongside a traditional combustion option.

The electric M3 features an innovative quad-motor setup, with individual motors powering each wheel. While official power figures remain undisclosed, output could exceed 1,000hp. This configuration enables precise torque vectoring, optimizing handling and traction through individual wheel control.
BMW enthusiasts can breathe easy knowing that an updated version of the current 3.0-litre straight-six engine will remain available, meeting latest emissions standards and selling alongside the electric variant.
