GM Energy, in partnership with Pilot Company and EVgo, has successfully deployed DC fast-charging stations across more than 25 U.S. states, with over 130 locations now operational. These charging stations are strategically positioned along major travel corridors, mirroring the familiar convenience of traditional gas stations.

The initiative features 350kW DC fast chargers, capable of rapidly charging compatible electric vehicles. Locations are specifically chosen at Pilot and Flying J travel centers, offering drivers essential amenities during charging sessions.

This deployment represents a significant step toward the partnership's ambitious goal of installing up to 2,000 DC fast-charging stalls across 500 Pilot and Flying J locations nationwide. The project aims to make long-distance EV travel more practical and accessible for American drivers.

Key features of these charging stations include:

  • 350kW charging capability
  • Multiple charging stalls per location
  • Convenient access to travel center amenities
  • Strategic placement along major highways
  • Gas station-inspired layout for familiar user experience

The expansion addresses a critical need for reliable fast-charging infrastructure along America's highways, supporting the growing adoption of electric vehicles across the country.
