
Beckman Leads Rainy Qualifying at NHRA Finals in Pomona
Racing was suspended at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals due to rainfall during the opening qualifying session at Pomona Dragstrip. Only Funny Car and partial Top Fuel qualifying runs were completed before weather halted proceedings.

Jack Beckman claimed the provisional top spot in Funny Car with an impressive 3.828-second run at 334.82mph in his PEAK Chevrolet Camaro SS. His John Force Racing teammate, Austin Prock, is set to secure the world championship during Saturday's sessions.
In Top Fuel, Shawn Reed posted the fastest time among the nine competitors who managed to run, clocking 3.712 seconds at 320.36mph in his GESi dragster. Reed aims to secure his first career No. 1 qualifier position.
Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle categories were unable to complete any runs. Qualifying resumes Saturday at 11:30am PT with two sessions scheduled for all categories.
Friday ticket holders have the option to apply their ticket credit toward Saturday or Sunday admission, or toward the 2025 In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals event.
