The changes come after the Mustang GT3's debut season, which saw initial struggles but eventual progress with podium finishes for the No. 64 car. This restructuring replaces Joey Hand, Dirk Muller, and Harry Tincknell, who were instrumental in developing the Mustang GT3 program.

Mark Rushbrook, global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, emphasized the strategic importance of these changes, noting that while Hand and Muller won't be part of the IMSA squad, they remain valuable to Ford's racing program, with new opportunities on the horizon for Muller.

The team is currently participating in the IMSA-sanctioned test at Daytona International Speedway, preparing for the 2025 season opener.
