
2025 Modified Season Kicks Off with STSS Florida Opener at All-Tech
The 2025 Modified racing season launches at Florida's All-Tech Raceway with the sixth annual 'Sunshine Swing,' featuring Modified and Sportsman divisions in the Short Track Super Series (STSS).

The four-day event runs February 5-8, beginning with Tuesday's Open Practice. Over $120,000 in total purse money will be awarded during the week.
Modified Division Schedule:
- Wednesday: 30 laps, $4,000 to win
- Thursday: 35 laps, $5,000 to win (STSS Modified feature #200)
- Friday: 40 laps, $6,000 to win
- Saturday: 50 laps, $7,500 to win
Sportsman Division Schedule:
- Wednesday/Thursday: 25 laps, $1,500 to win
- Friday/Saturday: 30 laps, $2,000 to win
Wegner Automotive presents overall championship bonuses:
- Modifieds: $1,500
- Sportsman: $1,000
Notable Past Winners:
- Modified Division: Stewart Friesen (5 wins), Matt Sheppard (4 wins), Erick Rudolph (2 wins)
- Sportsman Division: Payton Talbot (3 wins), Michael Ballestero (2 wins), Stephen Kemery (2 wins)
Since 2020, seven different drivers have claimed Modified victories in Florida STSS events. The 2024 'Sunshine Swing' marks the fifth appearance by STSS at All-Tech, with the series previously running once at Ocala Speedway in 2021.
All races will be broadcast live on FloRacing with an annual subscription.
