Starting from eighth position, Day methodically worked his way through the field, taking the lead from Jacob Denney with 17 laps remaining. Using a strategic move on lap 82, Day capitalized when Denney drifted slightly off the bottom line, securing both the win and the $15,000 prize.

Daison Pursley finished third, clinching the 2024 USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship for himself and CB Industries team. Buddy Kofoid claimed second place after leading 24 laps, while Jacob Denney finished fourth and Logan Seavey rounded out the top five.

Notable achievements from the event include:

  • Zach Wigal earned both the Don Basile Rookie of the Race honors and the Max Papis Innovations USAC National Midget Rookie of the Year award
  • Tanner Carrick received hard charger honors, advancing from 19th to 10th place
  • Dalten Gabbard earned the Inferno Armor Fire Move of the Night after recovering from a practice crash to make his first USAC National Midget start

Day's victory, achieved with a 20-year-old powerplant in his Durst – Four CCCC's Construction – Sander Engineering/Triple X/Wirth Mopar, marked a successful conclusion to his racing season, which included appearances in the Kubota High Limit Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
