Yankowski Ready to Race at Chili Bowl After Recent Testing – DTD Exclusive
Alex Yankowski, a Northeast Big Block Modified driver, is set to compete in the 2025 Chili Bowl, joining Super DIRTcar Series Champion Mat Williamson on the Keith Kunz Motorsports team.

Driver celebrates win with checkered flag
Making his debut at the prestigious Midget Racing event, Yankowski expressed admiration for the historic Oklahoma venue, noting its unique character and nostalgic atmosphere.
During Sunday's crucial testing sessions, Yankowski made significant progress across two practice runs. Rather than fundamentally changing his driving style, he focused on adapting and finding comfort in the new environment.
Yankowski is scheduled for his preliminary night on Wednesday, where he'll put his testing experience to the test in actual race conditions. His approach emphasizes smooth adaptation rather than wholesale changes to his driving technique.
The event, featuring nearly 400 competitors, provides limited track time, making each practice session valuable for drivers to fine-tune their performance before the main competition begins.
