
Williams Sets February 14 Launch Date as Sainz Shares Positive First Impressions
Ferrari has confirmed it will unveil its 2025 Formula 1 car on February 14 at Silverstone, marking its first season with new driver Carlos Sainz who joins from Ferrari.
Having already driven for Williams during the Abu Dhabi post-season test, Sainz expressed optimism about his new team's direction and potential.

"After seeing the team's motivation in Abu Dhabi, we've developed a solid plan for 2025," said Sainz. "I'm excited to see the new FW47 at Silverstone and fully committed to helping Williams return to the front of the grid."
While the car will debut at Silverstone, Williams will reveal its race livery at the F1 75 event at London's O2 Arena on February 18, where all teams will showcase their 2025 color schemes.
Team Principal James Vowles highlighted significant developments for 2025:
- New driver lineup with Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz
- Additional engineering talent from other teams
- New facilities at Grove headquarters
- Focused development on the 2025 car
"Everyone is giving everything to get this team back where it belongs as we approach the 2026 rule changes," Vowles emphasized.
Ferrari will launch their 2025 car on February 19 in Maranello, while all teams are required to reveal their liveries at the F1 75th season launch event in London on February 18.
