
USAC Champions Swanson, Seavey & Pursley Honored at Annual Award Ceremony
USAC national driving champions Kody Swanson, Logan Seavey and Daison Pursley were honored alongside other champions at the 69th USAC Night of Champions celebration in Indianapolis.
Major highlights from the 2024 season:
- Kody Swanson won his record 8th USAC Silver Crown championship, overcoming a broken foot to win 5 races
- Logan Seavey tied the single-season USAC Sprint Car win record with 14 victories en route to the championship
- Daison Pursley completed a remarkable comeback from injury to win the USAC Midget title with 7 wins
Key Awards:
- National Driver Championship: Logan Seavey
- Chief Mechanic of the Year: Kirk Simpson
- Most Improved Driver: Briggs Danner
- Race Organizer of the Year: Jerry Gappens (posthumously)
Regional Champions:
- CRA Sprints: R.J. Johnson
- East Coast Sprints: Steven Drevicki (4th title)
- Western States Midgets: Cade Lewis (youngest ever)
