The Toyota Urban Cruiser marks Toyota's second entry into the electric vehicle market, positioned as a compact SUV below the bZ4X. Set to compete with the Kia EV3 and Volvo EX30, this new model will hit markets in late 2025.

Developed in partnership with Suzuki, the Urban Cruiser shares its underpinnings with the Suzuki e-Vitara while featuring Toyota-specific styling elements, particularly in its front-end design. The vehicle sports Prius-inspired headlights integrated into a black trim strip and a discreet lower grille.

Performance and Range:

• Two battery options: 49kWh and 61kWh
• Expected range: approximately 250 miles (61kWh version)
• Three powertrain configurations:
  • 144hp single motor
  • 174hp single motor
  • 184hp dual-motor all-wheel drive
