Technical Updates: Teams Bring Limited Upgrades to Chinese GP
Recent freight delays due to customs have impacted team upgrades for the Chinese Grand Prix, with only four teams introducing minor technical modifications for this race.
McLaren has equipped a new rear brake duct winglet to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. Racing Bulls introduced two components: an additional gurney flap on the front wing and a two-element beam wing, both designed to provide extra downforce when needed.

Williams has implemented a larger rear beam wing to generate increased load and drag from the rear wing assembly, specifically optimized for medium-high downforce circuits.
Stake, following their points finish in Australia, is testing a new engine cover. This modification aims to improve airflow around bodywork surfaces, potentially increasing overall downforce and aerodynamic efficiency.
The limited upgrades reflect the logistical challenges teams face during back-to-back races far from their European bases. Four teams - McLaren, Red Bull, Mercedes and Aston Martin - received curfew exemptions due to delayed freight arrival.
