Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Seth Hammaker secured his second career Supercross victory at the East/West Showdown in Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium, marking a significant comeback after nearly four years since his first win in Arlington 2021.

Recently relocating from California to Florida's Dog Pound training facility in Dade City, Hammaker has been focusing on improving his technique and breaking old habits.

"Florida is a pretty big hot spot for training, and I felt like it would be a big benefit," Hammaker explained. "In order to be a fast and safe rider, the technique needs to be on point."

His primary goal for the season is staying healthy and completing a full schedule. "I just need to get through a full season, regardless of what the results are," he emphasized. "Not only confidence-wise – it also builds your endurance."

At Indianapolis, Hammaker led from the start, maintaining his composure despite track challenges and pressure from Tom Vialle. His victory validated the team's recent training efforts and marked a different emotional significance compared to his first win.

Currently third in the AMA East Region Supercross standings, just 11 points from the lead, Hammaker remains optimistic about his championship chances. He credits Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki and Mitch Payton for their continued support through his injuries and setbacks.

"I'm not out of this thing by any means," Hammaker stated. "I just want to click off solid races, play it smart, and take opportunities when they're available."
