Rolex 24: Paul Miller Racing's BMW Takes GTD PRO Lead as Sun Rises at Daytona

The sun rises over Daytona International Speedway as the 63rd Rolex 24 enters its final quarter with 585 laps completed.

Porsche Penske Motorsport dominates the GTP class, with Nick Tandy's No. 7 Porsche 963 leading Matt Campbell's No. 6 by five seconds. The No. 24 RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 holds third, followed by No. 60 MSR Acura ARX-06 and No. 10 WTR Cadillac V-Series.R.

Ten full course yellows have occurred, with 13 official retirements including three GTP class vehicles: No. 5 Porsche, No. 40 Cadillac, and No. 63 Lamborghini.

In LMP2, AO Racing's No. 99 ORECA 07 leads, with Christian Rasmussen maintaining a six-second advantage over Job van Uitert's No. 8 Tower Motorsports. Colton Herta holds third in the No. 04 CrowdStrike Racing APR car.

GTD PRO sees intense competition as Madison Snow in the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 EVO takes the lead from Klaus Bachler's No. 77 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. Dennis Olsen's No. 65 Ford Multimatic Mustang GT3 sits third, followed by Antonio Garcia's No. 3 Corvette Racing Z06 GT3.R and the No. 69 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3.

In GTD, Matt Bell leads for AWA, closely followed by Ralf Aron's No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG. Kenton Koch, Conrad Laursen, and James Calado round out the top five.

The race temperature remains cool but is expected to warm as the finish approaches.
