The 63rd Rolex 24 at Daytona enters a dramatic phase with just two hours remaining. A Full Course Yellow was triggered when the leading No. 88 AF Corse ORECA LMP2 07 stopped at the International Horseshoe, with driver Matthieu Vaxiviere forced to abandon the vehicle.

A significant incident occurred in the GTD PRO class between the No.1 Paul Miller Racing BMW and No. 4 Corvette Racing Z06 GT3.R. The situation escalated when the lapped No. 48 BMW, driven by Augusto Farfus, interfered with the battle between Connor De Phillippi and Tommy Milner. After receiving a drive-through penalty for blocking, contact between De Phillippi and Milner resulted in damage to the Corvette's rear panel, forcing a mechanical black flag.
