Penske Entertainment's Alex Damron praised PREMA's approach, highlighting how it effectively demonstrated the team's brand, heritage, and international presence. The event benefited from early collaboration with IndyCar, resulting in a co-branded stream that reached a broader audience.
Currently, Arrow McLaren leads existing teams in presentation efforts, primarily utilizing social media platforms for revealing liveries and drivers. Other prominent teams follow similar digital-first approaches with photos, videos, and press releases.
McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown acknowledges the need for more elaborate launch events but emphasizes the importance of having meaningful developments to showcase. "We need to do more," Brown stated, noting that simple livery reveals might not justify full-scale presentations without accompanying technical innovations.
PREMA's launch event represents a shift toward F1-style team presentations in IndyCar, potentially setting a new benchmark for how teams introduce themselves to fans and media in the series.
