The No. 7 Porsche 963, driven by Nick Tandy, Felipe Nasr, and Laurens Vanthoor, demonstrated superior pace as temperatures dropped and darkness fell. Tandy's crucial pass on Action Express' Fred Vesti proved decisive, while the No. 6 sister car secured second place to complete the Porsche domination.

Nick Yelloly's No. 93 Acura MSR ARX-06 claimed third, finishing five seconds behind the winner. BMW struggled despite starting from pole, while Cadillac experienced a disappointing day with their best finish only reaching fourth place.

The victory holds special significance for Nick Tandy, who becomes the 10th driver in history to achieve the endurance racing "Triple Crown" - overall wins at Le Mans 24 Hours, Daytona 24 Hours, and Sebring 12 Hours.

Porsche's success extended to the GTD Pro class, where AO Racing's 'Rexy' secured victory with drivers Laurin Heinrich, Alessio Picariello, and Klaus Bachler. Heinrich set new GT lap records twice during the closing stages, executing a perfectly timed pass on Paul Miller Racing's BMW for the win.

This victory marks Porsche's second consecutive major endurance win in 2025, following their triumph at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The German manufacturer demonstrated exceptional reliability and strategy, with the No. 7 car leading 473 of the first 1134 laps of the season across both landmark races.

Looking ahead, the team's focus shifts to the Le Mans 24 Hours in June, where they'll aim to continue their impressive run of endurance racing success.
