The 2025 Cornwall Speedway season will see a new champion crowned in the Next Level Home Improvement Sportsman division, as two-time champion Gabriel Cyr moves up to the 358-Modified division. This transition sets the stage for an intense battle between top contenders Shane Pecore and Tristan Ladouceur.

Shane Pecore enters as a strong favorite, having never finished worse than second in the past three seasons and accumulating 34 wins in Cornwall Sportsman events. He'll be pursuing his fifth division title after finishing second in 2024, 44 points ahead of Ladouceur.

Third-generation driver Tristan Ladouceur, coming off a championship win at Mohawk and a third-place finish at Cornwall in 2024, aims to secure his first win at his home track while contending for the championship.

The competition for third place remains wide open, featuring veteran Justin Desrosiers and a mix of experienced drivers and rising talents including:

  • Sylvain Dupuis
  • Trey Ladouceur
  • Dan Jalbert
  • Adam Rozon
  • David Andre
  • Skylar Ladouceur

Additional competitors vying for top-10 positions include Billy Cook, Bob Ray, Matt Barbour, Marco McCarthy, and Ty David.

The 2025 season features a packed 16-race regular season schedule, including the DIRTcar Sportsman Series on June 1st and the three-race Lamoureux Pumping Series. The division will also compete across all three nights of the Canadian Super DIRT Weekend in October.

Teams have invested significant preparation time into their vehicles, promising an action-packed season of competitive racing at Cornwall Speedway.
