Nissan and EVgo to Add 200 New Fast Charging Stations Across US
Nissan and EVgo are expanding their charging network partnership with 200 new direct current fast chargers across the United States. These new chargers will feature both CHAdeMO and CCS connectors, making them compatible with most electric vehicle models. Each station will deliver 100kW of power, enabling faster charging times for EV owners.
This expansion builds upon the companies' successful six-year collaboration in developing EV infrastructure throughout the country. While the specific locations and installation timeline haven't been announced, this addition will significantly enhance the accessibility of fast charging for electric vehicle drivers nationwide.
The dual-connector approach ensures these stations can serve both older Nissan models using CHAdeMO and newer vehicles equipped with CCS charging capabilities, demonstrating Nissan's commitment to universal charging accessibility in the evolving EV market.
