Sports car racing legend Nick Tandy aims to secure the prestigious Triple Crown of endurance racing at the Sebring 12 Hours, following his historic "Tandy Slam" achievement at the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Already victorious at Le Mans and Daytona, Tandy needs only a Sebring overall win to join an elite group of just 12 drivers who have claimed victories at all three iconic endurance races. His previous Sebring success includes three consecutive GTLM class wins from 2018 to 2020 with Porsche.

Despite near misses in 2023 and 2024, Tandy remains focused on the challenge ahead. "The motivation doesn't change," he explains. "When records build, the individual races get talked about a little bit more, but the drive to win remains constant whether it's a local race or Le Mans."

Alongside teammates Felipe Nasr and Laurens Vanthoor in the Porsche Penske Motorsport entry, Tandy enters Sebring as the IMSA GTP championship leader. A victory would not only complete his Triple Crown but also position his teammates for potential milestone achievements of their own - Nasr would need only Le Mans for his Triple Crown, while Vanthoor could pursue both the Triple Crown and 24-hour Grand Slam.

The Sebring 12 Hours represents the final piece of Tandy's endurance racing puzzle, complementing his already impressive resume that includes a remarkable overall victory at Petit Le Mans in 2015. With favorable weather conditions forecast, Tandy faces what many consider the most challenging test in endurance racing as he seeks to add his name to the prestigious Triple Crown list.
