The all-new Jaecoo J7 SUV enters the UK market as a competitive offering in the family SUV segment, combining premium features with an attractive price point starting at £29,435.

This VW Tiguan-sized SUV features distinctive styling with a large vertical-barred grille, LED lighting, and design elements inspired by Range Rover vehicles. Notable exterior features include retractable door handles and a rear light bar reminiscent of the Range Rover Velar.

Inside, the J7 boasts a modern interior with a fabric-wrapped dashboard housing a 14.8-inch infotainment screen and a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster. While rear passenger space is generous, the boot capacity is limited to 412 liters.

Two powertrain options are available:

• 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine (147hp, 275Nm)
• Plug-in hybrid with 204hp and 56-mile electric range

The J7 offers genuine off-road capability with:

• 600mm wading depth
• Seven driving modes (including Sand, Mud, Snow)
• Optional all-wheel drive system
• Quick-response 4WD system (0.1-second activation)
