The new Audi A6 Avant combines traditional luxury with modern aesthetics, offering both petrol and diesel powertrains alongside its electric e-tron sibling. Available from April 2025, starting at £52,510.

Inside, the A6 Avant showcases a modern dashboard with an 11.9-inch digital driver's display and 14.5-inch touchscreen. An optional 10.9-inch passenger display offers entertainment and navigation assistance.

Engine options include:
- 2.0-litre petrol (204hp, 0-60mph in 8.3 seconds)
- 2.0-litre diesel (204hp, 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds)
A future S6 variant is expected with a 370hp V6, while the RS6 may feature a plug-in hybrid V8 producing up to 739hp.
Three trim levels are available:
- Sport: Base model with heated electric leather seats and LED lights
- S Line: 19-inch wheels, sporty suspension, and enhanced styling
- Edition 1: 20-inch wheels, roof rails, and additional safety features

Despite earlier plans to rename it the A7, Audi has maintained the A6 Avant nameplate, positioning it alongside the electric A6 Avant e-tron in their lineup. The new model offers better value than key competitors like the BMW 5 Series Touring and Mercedes E-Class Estate.
