New Aston Martin Vantage Drops Its Top: 665hp V8 Roadster Coming This Spring
The Aston Martin Vantage Roadster brings open-top thrills to the brand's entry-level sports car, featuring identical performance to its coupe sibling despite a slight weight increase.
Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 665hp and 800Nm of torque, the Roadster achieves 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 202mph—just 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe.

Design-wise, the Roadster maintains the coupe's signature features, including the distinctive front grille and oval headlights. The fabric roof, available in black, black and silver, red, or blue, can be fully retracted while adding only 60kg to the vehicle's weight.

Set to launch in spring 2025, the Vantage Roadster is expected to be priced above £170,000, commanding a premium over the coupe version. This positions it as a direct competitor to the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, which offers slightly quicker acceleration but a lower top speed.
