Michael McDowell and Front Row Motorsports part ways after a successful seven-year partnership, marking the end of an era that saw both team and driver achieve significant milestones together.

McDowell spent his final days at the Mooresville, North Carolina shop clearing out his personal belongings, including locker items and memorabilia. The split, while bittersweet, remains amicable as McDowell transitions to Spire Motorsports for the 2025 season.

The transition process includes:

  • Returning company equipment (tablets, laptops, Ford program vehicle)
  • Transferring personal items (racing seats)
  • Updating marketing materials with partner Love's
  • Managing ongoing fan mail forwarding

Despite moving to Spire Motorsports, McDowell will attend Front Row's Christmas celebration for a final address to the team. As he stated, "It's been an amazing journey, and even though this chapter is coming to an end, this is family to me. It always will be."

Jerry Freeze, Front Row's general manager, praised McDowell's contribution: "He really helped raise the bar at Front Row across the board and really challenged us to improve our processes and get better people when they were available. He really helped push things along."
