Riley Herbst begins his full-time NASCAR Cup Series journey with 23XI Racing after five successful seasons in the Xfinity Series. The 25-year-old driver is piloting the No. 35 Monster Energy Toyota Camry, bringing fresh energy to NASCAR's premier championship.

Despite finishing 17th at the Daytona 500, Herbst showed promising performance, running in fourth or fifth place during the green-white-checker. The experience at Daytona proved invaluable for his Cup Series development.

Heading to Atlanta Motor Speedway, Herbst draws confidence from his nine previous Xfinity Series starts at the track. The repaved and reconfigured circuit presents new challenges, especially with Atlanta's harsh weather conditions affecting the track surface.

At 23XI Racing, Herbst joins teammates Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace under the ownership of Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan. The team's experience provides an ideal learning environment for the young driver's development.

Looking ahead, Herbst's goals focus on consistent improvement throughout the season. With upcoming races at COTA, Phoenix, and his hometown Las Vegas, he remains optimistic about his potential for success, including the possibility of securing a Cup Series win in his rookie season.

His immediate objective for Atlanta mirrors his Daytona approach: complete all laps, learn continuously, and position himself for a strong finish when the white flag drops.
