
Moore Captures Pole Position for Trans Am West Opener at Buttonwillow
John Moore secured pole position for the Trans Am Series Western Championship opener at Buttonwillow Raceway Park with a lap time of 1m40.347s in his No. 27 JM Environmental Ford Mustang. Ken Sutherland qualified second in his No. 85 Kallberg Racing Dodge Challenger.

In the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series, Brody Goble qualified third overall with a 1m40.818s in his No. 69 Brown Bros. Ford Lincoln Ford Mustang. JD Koos topped the XGT class with 1m47.827s, while Simon Asselin led SGT with 1m46.699s.
Moore, making his Buttonwillow debut, praised the historic track and his race car's performance. He emphasized the importance of tire management for the upcoming race, acknowledging the challenge of converting pole position into victory.
The Western Championship season opener is scheduled for Sunday at 12:20 p.m. PT.
