Racing alongside his daughter Lacey, who serves as crew chief, Walker embraces the family-centered approach to professional racing. Lacey has earned respect in the pits, with fellow teams acknowledging her exceptional expertise despite her young age.

The 2025 season brings new challenges as Walker balances increased work commitments with racing. His role in rock drilling for a power co-op may require flying between events, prompting the need for additional crew support, particularly a dedicated hauler driver.

Walker's switch to Longhorn Chassis last season has boosted his confidence, despite initial adjustment periods. The team now feels better equipped for success, especially at larger tracks like Volusia Speedway Park, where the season opens.

The "World's Fastest Half Mile" at Volusia initially challenged Walker, coming from a background in Midwest bullring racing. However, with updated equipment and experience, he approaches the 2025 season opener with newfound optimism.

The season kicks off at Volusia Speedway Park with DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (January 22-25) and Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (February 13-15). Walker's steady progress and equipment refinements position him for his strongest season yet in World of Outlaws Late Model competition.
