Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo driver Lucas Auer secured pole position for the Bathurst 12 Hour with a stellar 2m01.2760s lap around Mount Panorama. The Austrian rookie, who will share driving duties with Maxy Gotz and Jayden Ojeda, clinched the Pirelli Pole Battle by 0.12 seconds.

The qualifying results for the top positions are:
