Marchbanks Returns to Pro Circuit Kawasaki Ready for 250SX West Title Hunt
After beginning the 2024 season with Muc-Off/FXR ClubMX Yamaha and achieving back-to-back 250SX West podium finishes, Garrett Marchbanks faced setbacks due to injuries. A thumb injury at Nashville and a practice crash at Fox Raceway derailed his outdoor season.
In July, Marchbanks made a significant move by returning to Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki, where he previously raced from 2018 through 2020. His comeback started at the 2024 Unadilla National.

Training alongside 450 Supercross champion Jason Anderson has boosted Marchbanks' confidence for the 2025 season. "This year I feel really good. I truly feel like this year was the year I finally did all the work," Marchbanks explains, crediting Anderson's mentorship for improving his race day performance.
The return to Pro Circuit has special meaning for Marchbanks, who kept photos of his Daytona win and memories with Mitch Payton during his time away from the team. "I remember the day he called me to come back and ride for him. I just remember that I was sitting there looking at those pictures and I was like, 'Holly crap. I've made a full circle to do it again,'" he recalls.

After finishing sixth overall in the 2024 250SX West, Marchbanks aims higher for 2025. His last victory came at the 2020 Daytona 250SX East, and he narrowly missed another win at the 2024 San Diego supercross. Despite preferring east coast conditions, Marchbanks has adapted well to western tracks, with equal podium finishes on both coasts.
"I feel like everything is there for me to do it again, and I feel like my endurance is great and my speed is great. I feel like if I just get some good starts, ride right there and do what I've been doing these past eight weeks, there should be no reason why I can't win more races this year," Marchbanks states confidently about his 2025 prospects.
