
Lucas Oil Championship Battle Continues with Double-Header at Atomic and Brownstown
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship chase continues with upcoming races at Atomic Speedway and Brownstown Speedway on March 21-22, 2025.

Prize money has significantly increased for 2025, with Atomic offering $15,000 and Brownstown $25,000 to win. The series features over $800,000 in additional A-Main purse money compared to 2024. The National Champion will receive a record $250,000 from an enhanced $1.3 million season-long points fund.
The championship format includes four bonus periods throughout the season:
- Sunoco Road to Wheatland ($16,000 total)
- Summit Racing Equipment Super Twelve ($16,000 total)
- UNOH Great Eight ($18,000 total)
- Big River Steel Big Four ($16,000 total)
The Big River Steel Big Four championship events conclude the season:
- September 26: Brownstown Speedway - CJ Rayburn Memorial ($10,000)
- September 27: Brownstown Speedway - Jackson 100 ($50,000)
- October 3-4: Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway - Pittsburgher ($10,000/$50,000)
- October 17-18: Eldora Speedway - Dirt Track World Championship ($100,000)
2025 Point Fund Distribution:
- 1st: $250,000
- 2nd: $200,000
- 3rd: $150,000
- 4th: $125,000
- 5th: $100,000
- 6th-15th: Ranging from $80,000 to $20,000
Total Prize Money:
- Points Fund: $1,265,000
- Chase Bonuses: $66,000
