Kyler Johnson, a 21-year-old from Quinter, KS, is preparing for his fourth full-time season with the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Tour in 2025, seeking his first Feature win after accumulating five top-five finishes and 26 top 10s over the past three years.

Starting his 360 Sprint Cars journey at age 19, Johnson has shown steady improvement, achieving a career-best third-place finish at 81 Speedway in 2023 and securing fourth place at Red Dirt Raceway early in 2024.

Johnson's racing development has benefited from learning alongside veteran drivers like Jason Martin, Matt Covington, and Sam Hafertepe Jr. He frequently exchanges setup ideas with Covington, which has significantly improved his program.
As a third-generation racer, Johnson follows in the footsteps of his grandfather Jon and father Cody "C.J." Johnson. C.J., a six-time NCRA champion, serves as one of Kyler's crew chiefs, providing valuable insights on race strategy and car setup.
Johnson will begin his 2025 ASCS National Tour campaign on April 12 at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, OK, driving his BK Trucking, Don Ott Racing Engines-powered Maxim Chassis No. 45x car. His primary goal for the season is to secure his first national-level win while continuing his steady progression in the sport.
"Whenever we decided to join the National Tour, we didn't have any expectations," Johnson reflected. "But we've definitely met them. Hopefully, this year, we can exceed them by getting a win at the national level."
