
Kyle Cummins Dominates USAC Sprint Car Opener at Volusia Speedway
Kyle Cummins dominated the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship opener at Volusia Speedway Park, securing his 18th career victory in commanding fashion. The win marked his first on a 1/2-mile dirt track and his second Winter Dirt Games triumph.

Starting from fourth position, Cummins quickly maneuvered through the field, taking the lead from pole-sitter Brady Bacon in turns three and four on the second lap. He maintained control throughout the 25-lap event, despite two late-race cautions that momentarily closed the gap.
Driving the Petty Performance Racing/Avanti Windows & Doors – Premier Recycling/Mach-1/Stanton Chevy, Cummins led all but one lap and finished 0.840 seconds ahead of second-place Daison Pursley. Brady Bacon completed the podium in third, followed by Justin Grant and Briggs Danner.
