A veteran of the sport at 32, Anderson reflects on his impressive career, including 14 450cc main event wins. "I've been riding and racing dirt bikes since I was six years old. I feel like I'm more of a guy that just loves what I do, and I just want to keep the dream alive," he shares.
Coming off a solid 2024 season with four podium finishes and a fifth-place overall standing, Anderson aims higher for 2025. "I would really love to win in my 30s. I haven't been able to get a win in my 30s yet. That would be a huge thing for me."

Anderson's working relationship with new teammate Jorge Prado has brought fresh energy to the team. "It's been really refreshing with Jorge here. He still sees the shine on all of this stuff. It's sparkling and new to him," Anderson notes.
Looking ahead to Anaheim, Anderson acknowledges the intense competition, including Chase Sexton, Cooper Webb, and Eli Tomac. "The days of being so fast that you can just run through the pack are gone. The class is really stacked," he explains.
Regarding rising star Jett Lawrence, Anderson believes timing is crucial: "Right now is the time where if he's going to get beat, he needs to get beat. If you keep letting him go with his confidence, he can possibly win out until he's tired of winning."
As Anderson prepares for the season opener, his approach remains focused yet humble, emphasizing the importance of strong starts and adapting to each race's circumstances. His love for the sport continues to drive him forward as he seeks to add more achievements to his already impressive career.
