Hayden Reinbold to Race Full USAC Sprint Car and Midget Schedule in 2025
Hayden Reinbold is set to compete full-time in both the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship for the 2025 season. He'll pilot his family-owned Reinbold-Underwood Motorsports vehicles in both divisions.

The 20-year-old driver will compete as a Rookie of the Year contender in the 50-race sprint car series while continuing his fifth year in the 29-race midget campaign. Reinbold has accumulated 84 career feature starts in midgets and made seven USAC national starts in sprint cars during 2024.
Unlike most competitors who started in quarter midgets or micros, Reinbold's racing career began at age 16 in a USAC National Midget event at Tulsa's Port City Raceway - his first race of any kind.
He'll join veteran teammate Mitchel Moles in a two-car sprint car effort. Moles, who has been with Reinbold-Underwood Motorsports since 2022, will provide valuable mentorship in their AME Electrical – Mesilla Valley Transportation sponsored machines.
Reinbold describes the key differences between the two disciplines:
- Midgets require more left turns and tighter racing
- Sprint cars involve more right turns and looser handling
- Sprint cars have significantly more horsepower and speed, demanding more careful throttle control
His notable achievements include a 2023 Xtreme Outlaw/POWRi victory at Oklahoma City's I-44 Riverside Speedway and a fifth-place finish during the 2024 USAC Indiana Midget Week opener at Lawrenceburg Speedway. He enters 2025 as the leading contender for USAC National Sprint Car Rookie of the Year.
