The seven-time world champion's inaugural visit included several symbolic moments, starting at the Fiorano test track where he was welcomed by team principal Fred Vasseur and CEO Benedetto Vigna. Hamilton took photos with the F40 supercar in Michael Schumacher Square, a meaningful location given that both drivers share the record for most F1 drivers' titles.
The day's agenda included visits to Enzo Ferrari's historic office, meetings with senior management and Piero Ferrari, and extensive interactions with various departments at the Maranello facility.
"There are some days that you know you'll remember forever and today, my first as a Scuderia Ferrari HP driver, is one of those days," Hamilton expressed. "I've been lucky enough to have achieved things in my career I never thought possible, but part of me has always held on to that dream of racing in red."
Hamilton's integration continues with technical meetings scheduled for Tuesday, followed by a planned testing session in Italy later this month. The partnership between F1's most successful driver and its most prestigious constructor has generated unprecedented interest in the motorsport community.
The British driver emphasized his commitment to contributing to Ferrari's legacy: "I'm dedicated to bringing everything I have to deliver for the team, the wider organization and the fans. Today we start a new chapter in the history of this iconic team."
