The 23-year-old Fresno, CA native has shown steady improvement since joining KCP Racing in 2020. After earning Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year honors in 2023, Scelzi enhanced his performance in 2024 with three wins, including a NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals preliminary victory. He also achieved his first World of Outlaws points lead early in the season.

"If your goal is not to win a World of Outlaws championship, you really shouldn't be racing," states Scelzi. "We have the resources, people, engines, and cars - really the whole package."
Looking ahead to 2025, Scelzi emphasizes the importance of consistency throughout the entire season, from February to November. The team's campaign will begin at Volusia Speedway Park's Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals on February 5-8, where they'll start their pursuit of the championship against competitors like David Gravel, Carson Macedo, and Buddy Kofoid.
With KCP Racing's support and infrastructure, combined with Scelzi's growing experience and determination, the team believes they have the elements necessary to contend for the 2025 World of Outlaws title.
