FOX Sports Films New IndyCar Driver Commercials for NFL Playoffs
FOX Sports has begun filming new promotional commercials for the NTT IndyCar Series, featuring some of the sport's most prominent drivers. The production is taking place in Los Angeles and includes three major stars:
- Alex Palou (three-time reigning champion)
- Josef Newgarden (two-time champion and back-to-back Indianapolis 500 winner)
- Pato O'Ward (series' most popular driver)

The commercials aim to introduce these drivers and IndyCar to new audiences by highlighting their backgrounds and personalities. The promotional content will debut during FOX's NFL playoffs coverage in January, with potential extended airtime through February's Super Bowl broadcasts on February 9.
Additional driver-focused commercials featuring other series stars are expected to follow the initial release. The campaign represents part of FOX's aggressive marketing strategy as the new broadcast partner for the 2025 IndyCar season, which begins March 2 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
A Penske representative acknowledged the ongoing collaboration with FOX, stating, "We're off to an aggressive start with FOX, and there are more exciting things in the works. Stay tuned!"
