Having joined RFK Racing in 2022, Finley previously led the No. 60 team during its select races under the Stage 60 program. In 2024, the team competed in three races: the Daytona 500 with David Ragan, Sonoma Raceway with Cam Waters (his series debut), and the Chicago street course with Joey Hand.

The team now transitions to a full-time third entry for RFK Racing with Preece joining the lineup. Brad Keselowski, RFK driver and co-owner, emphasized Finley's experience and technical knowledge as crucial factors for the team's development.

Finley brings substantial NASCAR experience, having served in various roles including director of operations, technical director, and competition director. His educational background includes a mechanical engineering degree from the University of New Mexico.

"I am incredibly excited to lead the No. 60 team," said Finley. "I'm looking forward to working with Ryan and the entire team. It's a great opportunity to help start up a new team as we continue to grow at RFK Racing."

Preece, who joins RFK Racing after two seasons with Stewart-Haas Racing, will work with Finley for the first time. According to Preece, Finley's familiarity with RFK's processes will be instrumental in establishing the foundation for the No. 60 car team.
