Ferrari's Antonio Giovinazzi secured pole position for the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship season opener in Qatar, setting a commanding lap time of 1m38.359s during the Hyperpole session.

The No. 51 499P Ferrari outpaced the No. 15 BMW M Team WRT M Hybrid V8, driven by Dries Vanthoor, by 0.136s. The second row features the No. 50 Ferrari and No. 12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R, with Sebastien Bourdais' Cadillac completing the top five.
Notable disappointments included both Penske Porsches failing to make Hyperpole, with the defending champions starting 13th. The No. 8 Toyota struggled significantly, qualifying last after Brendon Hartley's challenging session.
In LMGT3, United Autosports achieved a McLaren front-row lockout. Sean Gelael's No. 95 GT3 Evo claimed pole with a 1m54.239s lap, narrowly beating teammate Sebastien Baud in the No. 59. The No. 78 AKKODIS ASP Lexus secured third despite a spin from WEC rookie Finn Gehrsitz.
