Felix Roy Dominates Flying Farmer 31 Memorial Race at Albany-Saratoga
Felix Roy dominated the "Flying Farmer 31" memorial race at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, leading all laps to secure his first career victory at the track. The DiCarlo Auto Body 358 Series event honored Jason Herrington, who passed away in March at 52.

Roy, starting from pole position, maintained control throughout the 31-lap feature, collecting bonus money including $251 from Meltz Lumber for leading at the halfway point. Despite a late scare from lapped traffic on lap 29, the Napierville, Quebec native secured the win and received the special "Big Red 1" trophy from the Herrington family.
Chris Curtis finished second after starting ninth, while Mike Coffey Jr. took third. Tim Sears Jr. and Marc Johnson rounded out the top five.
Other winners of the night included:
- Pete Stefanski: First career win in the 25-lap pro stock feature
- Gary English: Won the 20-lap limited sportsman feature
- Mark Burch: Secured the 20-lap street stock feature, earning $500
The modified, sportsman, and four-cylinder features were unfortunately rained out when a storm hit the Malta area.
