
EVgo Partners with Local Artists to Transform Oakland Charging Station into Public Art
EVgo's latest fast charging station in Oakland's Lafayette Square Park combines functionality with local artistry, enhancing the charging experience for EV drivers.
Located in the historic Old Oakland neighborhood, the station features four 50kW fast chargers uniquely decorated by artists from Dragon School, a local non-profit organization that promotes community engagement through art. The chargers, named Lupe, Iggy, Pismo, and Orly, showcase vibrant, abstract designs that complement the park's family-friendly atmosphere.
