Moore's journey to the rookie title began with an impressive 2023 season, where he secured 8 wins across 4 different tracks and claimed the Novice Sportsman championship at Brockville Ontario Speedway.
In his rookie 2024 season, Moore competed weekly in the DIRTcar Sportsman division at Can Am Speedway on Fridays and Brockville Ontario Speedway on Saturdays. His standout performances included a 6th place finish at Can Am in June and a near-victory at Brockville, where he led until the final lap before finishing second to track champion Bobby Herrington.
This achievement makes Moore the 7th Canadian driver to win the rookie title and the first since 2014, when Brianna Ladouceur and Ryan Stabler shared the honor.
Looking ahead to 2025, Moore plans to continue racing at Can Am Speedway and Brockville Ontario Speedway while exploring opportunities at other venues. He credits his success to his family's support, including his brother Brennan who competes alongside him in the DIRTcar Sportsman class, and his long-time sponsors.
"It totally was a surprise to me," Moore said about winning the rookie title, expressing gratitude and excitement for the upcoming season.
