Van der Helm has been with the team since the car's debut at Laguna Seca in May 2023 and will partner with Gianmaria Bruni for the upcoming season. The young driver, who turns 21 this month, aims to celebrate his birthday with a victory at the Daytona 24 Hours.

Having gained valuable GTP experience over the past two years alongside teammates Mike Rockenfeller and Richard Westbrook, van der Helm expressed enthusiasm about continuing with the team: "With the significant changes made for 2025 and our recently announced driver line-up, we have everything needed to compete for race wins."

John Church, JDC-Miller managing partner, highlighted the importance of van der Helm's return: "His experience with the series, team, and car is invaluable to our success." The team has secured van der Helm's services through a multi-year agreement, demonstrating their long-term commitment to the young driver's development.
