Dale Coyne Racing holds the final two available seats for the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series, maintaining their reputation as a gateway for emerging talent in the sport.

With 25 of 27 full-time entries already confirmed - including Dev DeFrancesco at Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Conor Daly at Juncos Hollinger Racing - Coyne aims to finalize both seats by mid-January 2025, ahead of the March 2 season opener in St. Petersburg.
Unlike the 2024 season's rotating driver lineup in the Nos. 18 and 51 Hondas, Coyne intends to secure two full-season drivers for 2025. The team is considering various candidates, including established pros like Rinus VeeKay, Linus Lundqvist, and Toby Sowery, among others.
Coyne is simultaneously working on bringing in an investor/partner, which could enable the team to hire at least one top-tier driver without requiring driver funding. While the progress on securing an investment partner continues, Coyne notes it's moving forward, albeit slower than desired.
The team has dismissed speculation about former Red Bull Formula 1 driver Sergio Perez joining their lineup, focusing instead on finalizing arrangements with suitable candidates for their Honda-powered entries.
