Austin Cindric has earned remarkable praise for his superspeedway racing abilities, particularly from three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin, who called him "one of the greatest superspeedway drivers we've got."

During the recent Daytona 500, Cindric and Hamlin controlled the lanes in the final moments without incident. Hamlin's respect stems from Cindric's careful decision-making and "live to fight another lap" approach, avoiding risky blocks that often lead to crashes.

"It's a very high compliment," Cindric responded to Hamlin's praise. "Denny has been one of the best for the last couple of decades, and for him to have a high opinion like that is pretty cool."

Though Cindric lost the lead to Hamlin in the final lap before a crash ended their chances, his superspeedway performance remains impressive. Despite having only one Daytona 500 victory, he's led 329 laps across three drafting-style tracks (Daytona, Atlanta, Talladega).

Qualifying second at both Daytona and Atlanta demonstrates his continued excellence. When asked about his success, Cindric credits thorough preparation: "The process that I've refined for myself over the years in my prep work is pretty solid. I put a lot of work in, and usually those are the tracks that require that type of work."

His consistency and strategic approach to superspeedway racing continue to earn respect from competitors and position him as a serious contender in upcoming races.
