Brookfield Speedway Returns for 2025 Season with Memorial Day Weekend Opener
Brookfield Speedway kicks off its 2025 season with the 'Fast Cars & Freedom' special on Sunday, May 25, during Memorial Day Weekend at the historic quarter-mile oval located at the Madison County Fairgrounds.

The event features the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Sportsman in a Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. North Region competition, offering a $1,500 prize to the winner of the 25-lap race. This marks the third STSS event at Brookfield, following victories by Blaine Klinger (2023) and Michael Ballestero (2024).
The race card includes:
- Hustle the Highway Series for 600 Modifieds (first of two appearances)
- Pro Stocks
- Four Cylinders
- Slingshots (Allstar and Junior)
- 50-lap Enduro (using Utica-Rome Speedway rules package)
The Madison County Fair Board has retained Brett Deyo as speedway promoter for 2025, with plans for monthly races from May through October. A complete schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
