
Bridgeport Motorsports Park Hosts '60 Over Special' STSS Modified Race This Weekend
Bridgeport Motorsports Park hosts the prestigious '60 Over Special' this Saturday (March 22) as part of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS). The event honors legendary driver and promoter Doug Hoffman at the 'Kingdom of Speed.'

The Modified division will compete for $6,060 in a 60-lap feature, paying tribute to Hoffman's iconic number '60 Over.' This marks the ninth STSS event at Bridgeport, which has hosted races on three different track configurations: the current four-tenths-mile oval, former three-eighths-mile inner oval, and original five-eighths-mile layout.
The Sportsman class will race 44 laps for a season-high purse of $4,444 in the second round of the Belmont's Garage South Region championship.
